This website (“Website”) is provided by KOLIOS S.A. GREEK DAIRY
KOLIOS SA, in compliance with the European Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data (EU 2016/679) and the relevant Greek legislation (Law 4624/2019), processes the Personal Data communicated to it with the maximum possible attention, ensuring, in any case, their protection and privacy. In order to ensure confidentiality and security of Personal Data, KOLIOS SA has taken all necessary organisational and technical measures, drawing up internal security policies, using appropriate electronic means and by informing and properly training its staff.
In its daily activities, KOLIOS SA uses a variety of data, which relate to identified individuals, including data related to: existing and former employees or external partners with a collaboration contract, suppliers, customers, users of the websites of KOLIOS SA and other interested parties.
For KOLIOS SA, respect and protection of your personal data is a commitment. In this context, it is seriously treating the fact that you are sufficiently aware of your personal data, since we are concerned about the confidentiality thereof. Our intention is to explain in detail the policies and practices we have adopted to protect your privacy, so that you feel confident about how we handle information that allows you to be identified (“personal information”) and that you entrust to us, and that you understand how we use your personal information to offer you the best possible products, services and experiences.
KOLIOS SA carries out legal processing of Personal Data, as it collects and processes such data exclusively for defined, explicit and legal purposes and only to the extent necessary for the implementation of these purposes. It makes sure that the data it keeps are accurate and up to date, seeking, to this end, the assistance of the data subjects, i.e. the natural persons to whom this data relates, and retains the data for as long as necessary for the implementation of specific purposes.
Collection of personal data
We collect personal data only if you choose to use the site contact form and fill in your name, email, country, address, telephone, Postcode / City and Fax or URL.
Purpose of processing
Personal information is used solely by us and our employees in order to respond to your requests and better serve you, in accordance with this Policy. People managing personal information are trained to use the appropriate procedures. Our representatives and service providers are required to keep your personal information confidential and not to use it for any purpose other than that of providing specific services to us.
In addition, we might, in some cases, ask if we could share your information with other trusted third parties. We will inform you about that at the time of collection, in case such information sharing with some third parties is expected, we will define the types of companies at the information collection point, we will describe the type of information we will share (such as the address or e-mail) and we will share the data with other parties only if you agree. We will only share the personal data of those persons who have agreed, as part of our prudent policy.
Data storage
We store personal data only for the time required to perform a service which you have requested or for which you have given your approval, subject to any contrary provisions of the law, as in the case of matters governed by commercial or tax legislation.
Security
The company applies security measures at technical and organizational level, in order to secure the data collected by you, against any intentional or unintentional attempt, manipulation, loss, destruction or general access by an unauthorized person. Where personal data is collected and processed, the information is circulated in encrypted form to avoid any misuse of such data by any third party. Our security measures are subject to continuous re-inspections and reformulations, in accordance with the latest technological developments.
Rights of the information subjects
Your main rights under data protection law are:
a) The right of access: You can request and receive from KOLIOS SA information about your personal data processed by us, as well as information regarding their processing, such as its purposes, recipients and retention period (Article 15 of the Regulation). Under this right, you can request that we provide you with a free copy of your personal data being processed. In case requests are repeated and manifestly unfounded, KOLIOS SA reserves the right to establish a reasonable number of such requests.
b) The right of correction: You may request correction of any inaccuracies or completion of any incomplete information, actions that the company will take immediately without undue delay (Article 16 of the Regulation). Our company undertakes to immediately inform the recipients to whom your data has been transmitted (article 19 of the Regulation).
c) The right to delete (“right to be forgotten”): You may request deletion of your personal data if there is no longer any legal obligation for them to be kept, or you oppose their processing, having a legal interest in this (Article 17 of the Regulation). In some cases (such as when there is a contract, obligation to process personal data imposed by law, public interest), this right is subject to certain restrictions or is not applicable, as the case may be. Our company will proceed to such deletion, without any undue delay, upon your request under the conditions set by the relevant Greek and European legislation on Personal Data Protection. The company undertakes to immediately inform the recipients to whom your data has been transmitted (Article 19 of the Regulation).
d) The right to restrict the processing: You may request the suspension of processing of your personal data:
- a. when you dispute their accuracy and until verification;
- b. when you oppose deletion of your personal data and request limited use thereof instead of deletion
- c. when personal data are not needed for processing purposes, but are necessary for the establishment, exercise, support of legal claims, and
- d. when you object to the processing and until verification that there are legitimate reasons and the reasons why you oppose the processing take precedence (Article 18 of the Regulation).
e) The right to object: You may object to the processing of your personal data when there is a legitimate interest in doing so, in accordance with the terms and conditions of Article 21 of the Regulation, including your right to object to automated processing of your data and its processing for marketing purposes.
f) The right to transfer data: You may receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as well as request that this data be passed on to other processors (Article 20 of the Regulation).
g) The right to complain to a supervisory authority: You may contact the competent Greek independent authority, i.e. the Personal Data Protection Authority, in case of illegal processing of your data (http://www.dpa.gr/). h) The right to withdraw consent: In cases where we process your personal data based on your consent, you may at any time revoke your consent or change the extent of consent you have granted without affecting the lawfulness of the processing for the period before the revocation.
To be able to exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address listed below in the contact details. Deletion of your personal data is completed unless we are required by law to keep the information recorded.
In case you exercise any of the above rights, KOLIOS SA will respond within a month, unless your request is too complex or you have many previous similar requests. In any case, KOLIOS SA undertakes to inform you in detail about any incidents of violation when these may endanger your rights and freedoms, as well as the measures to be taken to deal with them.
Update & Modifications
KOLIOS SA reserves the right to modify and update this Statement at any time and for any reason. Please check our website from time to time to be informed about the current and valid Privacy Statement and especially before providing any new personal data.
